About Me

Hi! I'm Sarah

I've always had an obsession with travel so I have decided to take that leap of faith and explore the world, consciously of course! Either solo, with friends or with my trusted side kick Sparrow the dog, I will be working diligently to bring you the scoop on how to travel sustainably.

How I Got Started

I've always loved to travel but life didn't always make it easy. I worked way too much and allowed myself the typical three weeks of travel a year. It was never enough. After losing my mother to cancer, I decided to take the bull by the horns, quit my job of ten years and venture out to see the world!

Travel Goals

I want to explore the world and have fun, but I also want to make a difference. From education to preservation of conservation areas, promoting locally owned and operated businesses to helping conserve nature and wildlife, all while giving travelers an experience they will never forget!

Currently Touring Around Europe

My first time in Europe and I'm already in love!

L'Arc de Triumphe

Vibrant and Colourful London

I recommend at least a week in London. Walking the busy streets, dining in a variety of restaurants, museums, festivals, shopping, every corner has a new surprise!

Stonehenge

Historical Attractions

Stonehenge is just one of the many historical sites to visit in England. This and more in my next blog.

Museums, shopping and eating at English pubs are great ways to pass the days

There are so many museums around England. I got lucky and was able to go to two during my short trip in England, and was overwhelmed by the incredibly preserved and exquisite exhibits. If you want to see Egyptian, Greek and Mesopotamian beauty, visit the British Museum in London or the Ashmolean Museum of Archaeology in Oxford.

The City of Lights and Love

Walking the streets of Paris can be exciting. It's a fairly easy city to get around with a simple transit system if you get tired of putting in your daily 15,000 steps. The must do's are baguettes, cheese and wine which can be found in any Brasserie.

It's a big party in Cancun and these acrobats can be found at the Coco Bongo Beach Club. The restaurant above is the place to check out the action
